Tinned fish is having a real moment & we’re really excited about it…but we get it ~ it might not necessarily be the first thing you think about when hosting and pulling together a quick platter for friends or family.
So here’s our version… where we’ve really focused on good quality pairings we’d actually love to eat , and making the tinned fish taste as delicious and feel as approachable as possible by making some of them into tiny moorish dishes!
Spicy Tuna Dip:
- Tinned Tuna
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 10g Chives
- Black sesame seed
- Salt & Pepper
Smoked Trout Dip:
Mixed together:
- Smoked Trout
- 150g Creme Fraiche
- 1/2 Lemon juice
- 1 Grated Shallot
- Paprika

Salt & Pepper
For topping, finely chop:
- 10g Parsley
- 10g Dill
- 2 tbsp Capers
- Lemon Zest
- Paprika
Tomato Dip (in empty tinned fish tin)
- Finely grated tomato
- Oil from Sardines tin
- Salt & Pepper
Crème fraîche topped with finely chopped chives (in empty tinned fish tin)
Pickle Pot (in empty tinned fish tin) Olives, Pickled chillies & Pickled onions
Extra Additions:
- Salted crisps
- Air-fried sliced sourdough baguette
- Baby cucumbers
- Sliced Lemons
- Radishes
- Flatbread crackers
- Salted butter
- Pitta chips
- Kimchi
- Pickled Cauliflower
