SAVE for the Bank Holiday weekend. HOW TO PLATTER: Pastry Picky Bits Edition 🥧
We’ve taken Tesco Finest Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies & Sausage Rolls (1 pack of each) and elevated them with a few simple pairings to create the ultimate easy entertaining platter.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Scotch eggs
• Pork pies
• Sausage rolls
• 1 pack of celery
• Mini pots of condiments (we used chutney, wholegrain mustard & English mustard)
• Radishes
• Cornichons
• Balsamic glazed pickled onions
A few simple styling tricks we always use:
1. Cut your pastry items in half~ this makes everything feel more inviting, easier to eat, & allows all those lovely textures to show through.
2. Slice celery into bite-sized pieces. Cutting the ends at an angle instantly makes the platter feel sharper, cleaner & more refined.
3. Keep colours evenly distributed. Scatter your radishes, celery, condiments & antipasti evenly across the board for balance~ but keep each food type grouped together in clusters so the platter still feels neat and intentional.
